Plans of 6 New Mercedes-Benz Models Leaked for 2017

Innovation and engineering are part of the core values of Mercedes-Benz. The new Mercedes-Benz models for 2017 are proof of this. Some models are completely new, such as the E-Class, others get the AMG® treatment, and others are new versions of award-winning models. Most of these new Mercedes-Benz models will be released this winter.
The new E-Class Wagon
This new variation of the groundbreaking E-Class expands the practicality of the line, while still keeping all the elements, which make it one of the most distinctive luxury sedans.
The E-Class Wagon rearranges the proportions of the car and now fits up to seven passengers. It does this by adding a third-row folding bench seat in the cargo area. This allows you to set up the seats and cargo space to fit your needs. It adds the extra versatility without compromising legroom and increases the available headroom. Technology, style, and practicality are all present in this very stylish wagon.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG® GTR
The “regular” Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT is an impressive car. Supremely capable and luxurious, the AMG® GT with its hand-built 456 hp twin turbo V8 engine and racing bred chassis can take you around a track or your favorite canyon road with unsurpassed style and performance.
What happens if you want more power and even sharper handling? The answer is the new Mercedes-Benz AMG® GTR. This track-focused version takes an already stellar car to an unbelievable height of performance.
It starts by bumping up the power on the hand built V8 twin turbo engine to 577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. To help put all this power under control, the all-new AMG® traction control with 9 selectable levels allows you to choose the best program for whatever conditions you are driving in.
To make the AMG® GTR even more track capable, active rear axle steering, a lighter flywheel and forged cylinder heads were added.
Mercedes-Benz AMG® GLC 43
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a capable, luxurious, and refined mid-size SUV that is ready to go anywhere. On-road or off-road, the 4MATIC®® all-wheel drive provides a safe and confident ride. With its 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, the GLC is capable of delivering sporty and efficient driving dynamics.
When receiving the AMG® treatment, the GLC SUV is transformed into an incredibly high performing vehicle. Now powered by a 3.0 L V6 engine capable of producing 362 hp and paired with 4MATIC®® all-wheel drive, the GLC 43 can speed from 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. It offers sports car performance with all the comfort and practicality of an SUV.
The GLC Coupe
The GLC coupe gives a sportier edge to the already athletic GLC SUV. Its lightweight chassis allows precise, confident, and fun driving on a vehicle that remains practical and elegant.
9G-Tronic automatic transmission, Dynamic Select driving modes, and 4MATIC®® all-wheel drive give the GLC coupe all the tools to have optimum grip, cornering ability, and fuel efficiency. Paired with the responsive 241 hp turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the GLC coupe provides an unforgettable driving experience.
Mercedes-Benz AMG® E 43
Take the class leading E 300, keep the comfort, luxury and technology. Then add a 3.0L V6 bi-turbo engine with 396 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque and you get the Mercedes-Benz AMG® E 43.
The E 43 takes the E sedan class to a whole new level of performance. With a new engine, a specially programmed 9G-Tronic nine-speed transmission and an AMG® sport suspension with Air Body Control technology, the E43 provides a finely tuned ride that makes the most out of the engine’s power. This new setup allows the E43 to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The interior has also been updated to reflect the new performance capabilities. It has special seats that allow you to stay in your place while exploring the limits of this performance sedan.
Mercedes-Benz AMG® C 43 Coupe
The C-Class has been at the front of the mid-sized luxury sedan since it was introduced. The all new Mercedes-Benz AMG® C 43 is the latest addition to the lineup. True to its AMG® badge, the C 43 reaches new levels of performance unheard of in the segment.
While the standard C 300 uses the 241 hp 4-cylinder engine, the C 43 is fitted with the powerful AMG® tuned V6 3.0L bi-turbo engine that delivers 362 hp and 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. To keep up with all that power, the C 43 Coupe makes use of performance tuned 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission, which allows for faster gearshifts. This combination of power and cutting-edge technology propels the C 43 from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.
Its suspension offers a more sensitive response to steering movements, with the AIRMATIC® electronic air suspension on the front and rear axles. This feature can be adjusted to ensure an outstanding versatility in its different Dynamic Select driving modes: sport, comfortable, or optimized fuel use.
And Even More New Mercedes-Benz Models!
Also rumored is something totally new for Mercedes-Benz models: a pickup truck. It is very possible that a luxury pickup truck is in the works. This new vehicle might be labeled the GLT. It will most likely leverage the brand’s extensive experience in commercial vehicles. This will definitely appeal to those customers that need the flexibility of a one-ton pickup truck and the comfort, technology, and reliability that Mercedes-Benz is known for. Also scheduled to be released are an E-Class coupe and a revised version of the S-Class that includes some cosmetic upgrades.
