Joe Agresti

Owner & CEO

Joe Agresti is an entrepreneur and automotive industry leader who has built one of the most respected luxury dealership groups in the country. As the founder, CEO, and majority owner of Dream Motor Group (DMG), Joe oversees an 11-dealership network spanning six states — Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas — delivering 20,000 to 22,000 vehicles annually across some of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.

Joe’s journey in automotive retail began in 2005 when he acquired Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge. Through relentless focus on operational excellence, financial discipline, and company culture, he grew the store to national prominence — earning recognition as Mercedes-Benz USA’s top dealer in the United States in 2009.

In 2023, Joe led a landmark $730 million acquisition of two Mercedes-Benz megastores in the Miami area, followed by a $151 million expansion into Alabama in November 2025. Most recently, he acquired a stake in Alabama’s iconic Perdido Beach Resort — further extending DMG’s reach into the hospitality space.

A New Jersey native and Rutgers University graduate with a degree in accounting, Joe began his career at Arthur Andersen specializing in high-risk due diligence. He and his wife Adrienne are proud parents of two boys.

Nick Saban

Partner & Co-Owner

Nick Saban is one of the most celebrated coaches in the history of American football — and a passionate, hands-on business leader in the luxury automotive world. Following a storied coaching career defined by national championships and Hall of Fame recognition, Nick channeled the same discipline, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence into building something equally impressive off the field.

As a key co-owner of Dream Motor Group, Nick partnered with CEO Joe Agresti and former Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Steve Cannon to co-found an organization now recognized as one of the South’s most dynamic luxury automotive retail groups. His championship culture of process, accountability, and continuous improvement is woven into the fabric of how DMG operates at every level.

Under his co-leadership, Dream Motor Group completed the acquisition of Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and Coral Gables in a deal valued at approximately $700 million, and the 2025 acquisition of Toyota and Lexus of Montgomery — a combined $151 million investment reflecting the organization’s continued growth.

At Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham, Nick’s involvement brings both visionary leadership and deep community ties — a natural extension of the lasting bond he has built with the state of Alabama throughout his career.

Randy Powell

President

Randy Powell is a lifelong automotive professional whose career is a testament to what passion, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence can build over time. As President of Dream Motor Group, Randy plays a central role in shaping the strategic direction and operational success of DMG’s growing portfolio of luxury dealerships — including Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham.

Randy’s story begins with a genuine love of cars. He started as a technician apprentice with Mercedes-Benz in Fort Myers, Florida, in the late 1970s and steadily rose through the ranks — from technician to service manager to senior dealership leadership — all while earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees along the way.

As a partner and President of Dream Motor Group, Randy oversees day-to-day operations, champions a culture of world-class customer experience, and ensures that DMG’s standards of excellence are upheld across the organization. His career is proof that great leadership is built from the ground up — and that the best guest experiences are created by people who truly care.

Luke Elder

Managing Director

Since joining Dream Motor Group in 2018, Luke Elder has been a driving force behind the continued growth and success of DMG’s Alabama and Montgomery operations. As Managing Director, Luke oversees the Mercedes-Benz stores in Birmingham as well as the Toyota and Lexus stores in Montgomery — guiding General Managers at each location while bringing DMG’s culture of servant leadership to every team he leads.

During his time leading Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham, Luke helped elevate the store to a top-ranked position across multiple sales and fixed operations categories within the Mercedes-Benz USA network — a reflection of his steady, results-driven approach to leadership.

In his expanded role, Luke is focused on bringing the DMG philosophy of delighting guests and setting high expectations to the Montgomery market, while overseeing the development of an all-new Lexus facility and renovation of the existing Toyota store — both set to begin in early 2026.

Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham

Mark Roberts

General Manager

Mark Roberts brings a rare depth of knowledge and experience to his role as General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham — and few people in the organization have a longer or more meaningful history with this store.

Mark’s connection to Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham predates Dream Motor Group’s acquisition of the dealership in 2014, having served with distinction under Crown Automobile before continuing that journey with DMG. When it comes to understanding this brand, this store, and this community, no one brings more to the table than Mark.

Throughout his career, Mark has proven to be a strong, steady, and capable leader — someone who leads with consistency and earns the trust of those around him. As he steps into the General Manager role, Mark is completing additional training in fixed operations and business management as part of the process of gaining full MBUSA approval as a GM and Dealer Operator — a milestone his colleagues have every confidence he will achieve with excellence.
